The Road Poem by perry Schwartz

the road is lonely place in every town there is a new face for me to meet and as i walk down the street with only a little money i think it's kind of funny that would rather stay at home but i know that when it comes to the road i am not alone so i continue on singing a song and walking with my head held high to the sky if i had to choose between being at home or going on the road i would choose the road for that is the ultimate path towards freedom.
