The Redemption Poem by derek dudek

The Redemption

Sun lit skies & hurricanes

warp around the brutal taming
of her precious little angels

whispers crawling....

panting through the warpaint of travesty

shadows faintly grasping at her only
Ray of light

courageous & decadent

melancholy,
soon becoming laughter

as the gods scream,
tumbling through

sun lit skies & hurricanes

menacing disasters shyly crumble at her feet

oh...
PLAY WITH ME
you smitten, fallen ego

take me home
and
PLAY WITH ME

all I see
are...

sun lit skies and hurricanes

acting catatonic,
oh so tragic

come on and cry for me
one more time!
*
*
*
I'm alive and well
you're so, condescending!
*
*
*
dancing with tainted faded memories...
across...

sun lit skies & hurricanes

caressing this crippled calm before the storm

Cutting fearlessly through these...

*sun lit skies & hurricanes*
