The Red Carpet Poem by dale garris

The Red Carpet

let us unroll the carpet my friends no nerve no fimiliar stem of gratitude i try to strucure my life by color NOT JUST RED}

i sometimes find myself wondering around in day dreams hunting out a sent of hopefullness a sense of self realization, waking up dead, or something like that} the ghost of hitler haunts me in dark places when i am alone

and inspiration is dead the artist had screamed while sternly grinning at a kitchen knife's gleam i stare at the cartoons and things that make me laugh because i can't remember how to forget

insane kisses blister the sky as we cringe in the sunlight {god}and the trees shaking the world may survive in ruin and for us my friends, it will be BEAUTIFUL and we will roll up the red carpet and replace it with a tye dyed mushroom one

LIVE TO LOVE LIVE TO DIE BECAUSE THERE IS NO TOMORROW TORNBYWAR because life is the longest battle we will ever endure
