The Rains Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

The Rains

The rains will soothe
But won't bring you back
The rains will wash the heart

The drops will move
The heart will crack
Won't take a single part

The pools will say
You'll be ok
You stood there for too long

Go home baby
Someone maybe
Will give you an umbrella smile

The stars will fall
The lips will call
I'll just wait for a while

Even though
I already know
What's left to be known
When you stand alone
