The Rain Whisperer Poem by Ashish Sajwan

The Rain Whisperer

When it was all quiet,
then suddenly the sky grew white.
A shower hailed upon the land
bleakness of trees passed away in sand.
A calmness reached down from the sky
shrouded all noises that passed by.
Feathers flew far & perched the strings,
span their flaps & pecked their wings.
The grass grew green, while
the streets went dark with tiles
and ponds spilled water out
as sands of time was washed away by clouds.
Whiskers & cannines pat themselves dry,
as a pit of light shine from the sky.
as the time moved swiftly
the only voice iwas listening
was the touch of every single drop
from the sky which brought a new hope.
The beauty was reclaimed by nature,
As i whispered into rain's ear.
The sky knew what i told her,
as it called me The Rain Whisperer....
