The Rain Poem by Andrew D Robertson

The Rain

Rating: 4.0

The rain, such a pain
Please make it go away.
The flooding; the mess;
What did I do to deserve this?
The clouds so grey
and the ground so moist.
The trees are so still
and the birds silent!
The sunshine and the breeze
run together far away,
but the rain and the clouds...
They decide to stay.
The mud and the floods
blanket the roads,
but still it keeps on
RAINING! ! !

an enjoyable, humourous piece here. BUT it's not sleet or snow or ice. I prefer rain to an inch of ice hidden under a blanket of snow. Thanks for sharing. This was a fun read.
