The Puma
A savage cry hit the air
Rumbling away like distant thunder
She had smelt a male cat approach her lair
So she gave him a warning, a promise
Of what she would do
If he came any closer
For she had two kits behind her
And she would protect them with her life
Loving wildlife as I do, this really appeals to me. A scene right off the Nature channel! I love it! :) Sincerely, Mary
