The Postman Comes Poem by michael hagwood

The Postman Comes

The Dog is sitting by the door and soon

gives out a bark and jumps to his feet. The

postman comes up the stairs, and the dog is

glad he is there. The man bends over and gives

the dog a pat, and the bone out of his sack, he

leaves the mail at the door, leaves and go's about

his chore.
