The Portrait Poem by olapamanna narayanan

The Portrait

Rating: 5.0

Behold! My mind, beside the portrait of the charming woman

The picture of the sweet and gracious woman

All her features are in repose, her lips form an adorable Cupid's bow,

Kindness softens her glance, and goodness illuminates her brow.

Oh! The princess charming, you never get old

As time passes by, you glow like burnished gold.

A fine piece of poem. A good flow of words. The ending is immaculate. The grammar is flawless. What I appreciate is that we Keralites are very good at grammar. Keep your pen driving. Best wishes. I invite you go my world of poetry and write your comments. Thanks.

Portrait...of Mona Lisa or Ravi Varma's dancing Menaka? Well, a good poem...lines, poetic, beautifying the woman portrait...you have richness there to inherit, Narayanan...10/10
