The Poetic Perspectives Of A Dreamer"A Plea" Poem by James Darwin Smith II

The Poetic Perspectives Of A Dreamer"A Plea"

Acrostic motions
Molded in barren bereave
Bereft heart in commotion
Broken by tragedy
Forced seeing
Sordid plagues of emotions

I wish the world to be a better place
Where hatred and greed surcease
To the power of all things beautiful
Love, Rejoice and peace

The soul is what is important
Too many have lost sight of this meaning

Of life full of humbled journeys
Searching for truths
More realistic than ever before

But then there is the imagination
An entity so powerful
But slowly being ignored
Dreamers are forced
To become schemers
Because that is the only
Way to survive these days

What is wrong by the many?
Could be right by the few
What could be wrong by the few?
Could very well be right by the many
Sums up the mystery unwillingly unsolved
By those with narrow paths to typical delusions

And what is success?
Is it to tear someone down?

Only to build them up
If and when they become
Something they never dreamt of being
Against the reality of who they were before
And who they used to want to be so far long ago

For dreamers
These are troubling times
So much pain mustered
Doing their best
To keep each tear inside
Hiding all that hurts
Them the most
Deep within a void looming in despair

We have all been bamboozled
By suit wearing
Narcissistically armed
Heavy handed illusions
Amusing to all those pulling the strings
Of those who are unknowingly representing
Killing of dreams and ambitions

Certain conditions
Should be unconditioned
Trained to be full of acceptance
For those who feel lost
Stuck in the vision
Staring into needle of time
Wondering why
The most normality of things
Feel so different and so nerving

Aspects, choices
The more the better

Feeding a world
That has lost its appetite

Sustenance of a substance
Of a never ending
Bevy of knowledge
And passionate peace keeping decisions

I just want them to understand us
So fate can build on up from there
Fixing what is broken
Truly feeling empathy
Of those who were never
Close to being them

And it all connects to love
The unifier of them all
No matter what once believes
The greatest four letter word
Could be the start of a foundation
Of something beautiful and strong

If we all have a hard time accepting each other's perspectives
Why can we not unify with love?

With no ill will or malice
Hear everyone out
We all should have a voice

We will truly evolve
When it is time to accept true love

Things may feel hopeless
But to dream helps
The imagination
Is so powerful
More than most have ever known before

All I want to do is love
And dream of better days ahead

Is it safe to think positive these days?
