What is the role of the poet
inside today's society 
is it to question absolutes
to find and discover truth
or it is simple entertainment 
meant only for your amusement
or does it cover both events
are the roles multiples
is it both deep and shallow
deep poetry must be meaningful
it's structure can be lyrical
rhythmical and ethereal 
free form or conventional
the choice of words intentional
often it will test the status quo
we find there is no single answer
there are many many poets
each one being different
there is no single pattern
the question doesn't matter
