The Pinkish Dreams Poem by Taher Shemaly

The Pinkish Dreams

However the day seems long
or the night might seem to be dull
Smile O child out of the petals
banish the world and its null
Over the sea of the pinkish dreams
travel you, believe not a gull
Away from Melancho valley
away, and spare your skull

And when you hover over
the village of Loneville
Remember me my child
here I was, and I still
Where my childhood was
and my manhood will
Amid the interwined rivers
not so blue, nor have they will

Cupid passed that way my son
follow the road and may you catch
A glimpse of the legend that was
hovering in my reality but never to hatch
The world is awaiting, and so do I
when your heart does open the latch
Go and follow what I missed for long
it is but time for me to lay down, and watch

Yes, the world is waiting for the children.
