The Path Poem by Paul Celano

The Path

Standing in a dark hole
Surrounded by troops of black
A frozen pale road
A shadow leads the way

A loud silence
A breeze of stale air
The world had disappeared
The whole quilt but one patch

Flickering lights around the mind
The lustrous pearl in the sky
The exit
Walk the path
