The Painting

A painting attracted me
It wasn’t a Van Gough
The colors were splendid
The features all blended
The scene seemed familiar
Then I saw it stir
But there wasn’t any air
After rubbing my eyes
I came to realize

Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
