The Other Side Of The Glass Poem by Dónall Dempsey

The Other Side Of The Glass

Rating: 5.0

A rain drop
hits the windowpane.

You can almost
hear the slap

from here.

The windowpane
looks stunned.

It just
stands there
stares.

And at first, one
then more

teardrops
run down its face.

A fly
walks unperturbed

across
its field of tears

that only exist

on the other side

of the glass.
