The Other Half Poem by Yogi Sally Ann Slight

The Other Half

To be a Para's other half,
you have to learn to make him laugh,
and keep connected whilst he's away,
best you sit and learn to pray!

A Prayer is just a simple plan
to Ask for safety for your man,
to keep on asking though, will not do,
'cos Belief and Faith must work for you.

You must 'know' that he's in the clear
and never show an ounce of fear,
for just as he, you are in war,
let no negatives through your door!

The Law of Attraction, it does say,
that ''you attract all that you doth say! ''
And if you want it to draw near,
then speed it up with fear and beer!

For in the beginning, was the Word,
so do take care, you will be heard!
''Loose lips, sink ships'', war posters say,
so what makes you think things have changed today!

Your thoughts create,
then your words freely sprout,
please understand,
your letting a negative out.

Good thoughts within, good deeds without,
is all you need to learn,
for God has made you master of,
what you sow, it shall return!

Now, there is a two edged sword to this,
for some say that ''I Believe''
but don't forget your friends ideals
and their thoughts they too conceive!

It is a lonely path you tread
to be a partner of the Forces,
so stick with friends who are positives
and let horses run their courses.

For you are a Para's Pegasus,
you'll never leave his side,
In all your thoughts and words and deeds,
Always Love and Trust abide.
