The Other End Poem by LeighAnna Williams

The Other End

Rating: 5.0

I'm at the other end, I'm at the other end....
I watch my circle of friends crumble with emotions,
Slowly die inside, toss and turn at night because they've fallen in love
but yet love left them broken.....
I'm at the other end, I'm at the other end....
They cry to me, wish they could die they plead
and I'm here now scared to listen....
They describe the pain, yell out all the lies of love they where told
and at the end of it all the pictures they've painted with there words are all murals of me.....
I'm at the other end, I'm at the other end....
mistaken by curiousity I too fall into love and watch as disaster
makes me plead once again Guilty.
Love is like a gash across the chest
Invisible if Hidden Deadly if Exposed...
I'm at the other end, I'm at the other end
I'd love to say Ive never been where you stand now
but I'd hate to lie and play pretend.
