Oh Allah,
the merciful,
the benevolent!
In your blessed name,
I begin.

All praises are your due,
the lord of the worlds.
Your mercy reaches everyone.
Your benevolence abounds all.
And you're the master
of the day of trial and judgment.
You alone do we worship.
You alone we turn to
for help and support.
Guide us to the straight path,
the path of those
who you've blessed.
Do not guide us
to the path of those
who're wicked and
hence accursed.
Nor, to that of those
who are ignorant and astray.
