The One
It seems like just yesterday
When you were a part of me;
You held me in your arms
Made everything OK.
It seemed like nothing could go wrong.
But now I'm here
Torn to pieces,
and broken up inside.
I can't deny it.
I'll never pretend
That I wanted you
To just be the one
The one I could let inside
And tell all my secrets
That otherwise I'd never share.
