The Ogre Poem by Lee Crowell

The Ogre

Rating: 4.6

under the floorboards of my bedroom is where an ogre hangs out
I don't mind that he's there
it's just that the smell gets a little overwhelming now and then
in the spring I leave the windows open
and he goes out on the lawn at night
I think he has some fascination with astronomy
and the neighbors
my brother says the ogre shouldn't be trusted
we've only seen his shadow

I like your ogre. He seems not to be agressive.10+

Look for the gate that will take you to a wondrous world inhabited by fairies, elves gnomes and ogres. In there are magical forests and fabulous fortunes waiting to be discovered. Wonderful and imaginative.
