The Night Message Poem by Teye Wayoe Ebenezer

The Night Message

Tears rolling down my face like de sea breeze
Never thought de world will be so cruel of
separating ye from me, with a heart beat.
Thy Night foil thee, impeccable night singing
Slowly and melodiously through thy wind
The Night on errand, go back and sing thee
memorable song.
Pamper thee to sleep and when thy night while by
Let thy lazy bones get up from thy sofa, reincanate
thee for thy spirit have been pilfered by de wind.
Make thy Night an enthuse.
And when thee wake up, let thy soul dance with
de sweet melody of de wind.
