The Night. Poem by Melissa Ramey

The Night.

The night holds wonders, we never knew.
Though it is filled with more than darkness and dew.
we can not see what is choosen not to be shown.
The night holds a world we have never known.
theres animals, ghost, and maby even monsters,
This lonesom night leaves your clustered head with wonder.
Though our nights differ from days,
some things we know we hide like cherades.
Some things are best to leave unspoken
everything hides while people are awoken
you never know whats happening at night
you can never know if your guess is right.
there may be a world under our noses,
a sleepless creature covers to a model with poses.
The monsters we know are dirty and mean,
but how do you not know their plain to be seen.
This world is spoken of from folktales and myths,
but if there wasnt something out there how can i conjer up this.
though i've never witnessed a night creature its self,
Ive began to wonder from the books on my shelf.
Some weird murders that the killer has been freed
how do you know its not a creature hiding in trees.
Our god all mighty has keepin us warm,
not that he not only knows about the creatures hes sworn.
They are his children like you and me,
and a very respectful worshiper they could be.
to be known and show the truth
can damage and forever scar, all of us youth
but is there a way to show,
there is a world we may never know.
