The Mysteries Of Life Poem by Locura Alaam

The Mysteries Of Life

By the light reflected from the moon
By the night in its prime at noon
Life goes by and death flows nigh
People smile and sometimes sigh
As fate is raised, eyes are dazed
How can one not be amazed?
By the pen and mind of Keats
As Joy, Sorrow, in his song meets
Composing life in paradoxical means
Such that no man ever intervenes
'Tis a wisdom far from what our minds have seen
'Tis the wisdom of a Being with reason keen
With Joy and Sorrow both revel-
With birth a song, with death a knell
