The Muse's Kiss Poem by Rod M.Peters

The Muse's Kiss

That one day I feel the Muse's kiss
Is all my heart can ever hope for
Even if I should suffer sweet Bliss
Casting me in a sleepless shore
To long on and on for those lips cold,
Seized my soul by a smothering hold.

Yeah, the Missus doesn't reckon she's the Muse herself, then I'm in big trouble!
