The Moon Poem by Ashly Raju

The Moon

Rating: 5.0

The darkness was flowing
From the sky to the world.
It's reflection reached the threshold
Of every living hearts
And the caring hearts.
The glistening light has cleared from its way
To the infinity from the land
Where green murmurs with the breeze.
The red silk has disappeared
From the lives.

In a jiffy,
The exhilarating face
Of the skillful, playful son
Sang ‘jingle' in the mother's call.
His remembrance adorned her emotions.
The return of the schoolboy
Lighted for the arrival of the pearl of the earth.
Her love dripped in the valediction
Of the shadow of the earth.

Spreading out the silk of peace
Came the lily of night.
The darkness had covered the sky
But the mystery of the silver chandelier
Reflected in each scintilla of the sky.
The archangels began to sing
The stars glow in the
Adornment of the white beauty.
The doves flew over the earth.
The inflict of black
Became old folk story.
The snow of firefly fell.
The fireflies danced
The guest coming once in the fortnight
Bounced like the smile of the son
In the bosom of all lullabies.
