The Misunderstood Beauties Poem by Strydar Enox

The Misunderstood Beauties

Waking in a world so full of life, its hard to find oneself.
Hard to see past the lies, hard to deal with reasons we cry.
Yet pressured we remain looking for answers in time.
What do we find? truth in disguise. Reasons to hate.

Hate the beauty how can this be? everything looks so beautifully.
Douse it in gold and it will still stay, while its interior rots and decays.
Joy on the outside with pains trapped within, more and more reasons to resort to sin.
More and more questions unanswered by time. More tinder applied to the flare of insecurities.

Remaining unmoved a wall in the mind. Devoid of reasons we still try to hide.
Inventing persona’s to just hide our hearts, we all worry about it being torn out.
Then there are some who have found there one completing who they are.
Some remain unlucky with thoughts of disdain. Just a fact that’s a stain to the brain.

Why can’t it be so plain the intentions of our words we already said?
Most of the time people hear the opposite of what was meant.
They get caught up with debating why it is. Little do they know they too live a lie.
They speak these mistruths with tears in their eyes. For they are tired of hiding within their mind

Tired of dodging but stuck in their rut everyday they hope someone pulls them up.
Yet despite this fact they push us away. We just want to help is that not okay?
Why board yourself up and hide from stress when all that does is cause more to manifest.
Change your mind, look up at the sky, tears were before its not time to cry.

Look at the trees the colors perceived, focus on others and your anxiety leaves.
Like the trees in autumn Their leaves fall away leaving them vulnerable for the cold to play.
Yet despite this fact the leaves do return every year in fact. How beautiful is that?
Its amazing how much we see what we like, what happened to striving for what’s worth the fight?

Take a moment to admire where it is you are. Worrying about what can and could wont get you far.
Be happy you made it this far in life, the stress the worries the fights the tears.
Once you accept your own love so will those near. soon enough to you and them you’ll be dear.
Wishing things only gets you so far, unlock your cage and walk the other half.

Now this last stanza is my message to pursue, Through my own mind I was caught in the loop too.
This issue is not one brought on by oneself, treat others better you’ll help them out.
Through jokes and awkward moments in life. It may be their way to cope with fright or the fight.
Some joke like I do when their thoughts get misconstrued mostly to get through the horrors I knew.
