The Mime Speaks Out At Last Poem by Kyle Schlicher

The Mime Speaks Out At Last

6 o'clock news!

the mystery has been stabbed
in
the
back.

silence is no longer

GOLDEN.

the goose laid an ordinary egg.

words were expected
containing
some
semblance
of
refined
wisdom.

'a drink of water, '
he
asked
of
the
interviewer.

nothing less.

nothing more.

he is one of us
after
all.

bummer.
