The Middle Man Poem by Khaleel Steir

The Middle Man

If you have a problem, why not tell me and confront me about it?
Why jump over me like Mario and go talk to somebody else?
You act like I'm a ghost who you can only hear and can't see
Stop acting 'two-faced' and speak the problems you have with me
Yet, when you talk to me, everything is fine: no problems on your mind
Then you turn and complain to your friend about how you really feel about me
You act as if I'm not intelligent enough to solve this petty problem
Cut out the middle man and come directly to me
Don't pass 'Go'. Don't collect false pride. Go straight to me!
Things will only get worse the longer you wait
I'm only going to get angrier, listening to others who aren't you tell me how you throw knives at my back
The middle man can't solve your problems
So skip him and come talk to me so we can solve this problem like civilized human beings.
