The Memory Poem by Mary Roach

The Memory

The sea tells a story
Of ages long ago
From the fossils formed from little fish
To the ice ago filled with snow

The sky remembers everything
But yet nothing at all
It knows all the starts
But forgets them when they fall

A stone teaches wanderers
Of past and future too
If you even look close enough
It just might teach you
