The Meaningful Light Poem by Sam Popeil

The Meaningful Light

I need a light.
A light to get me through the night.
I think that I shall use the moon as a guide.
On this dark stormy night.

The rain drops hit me,
and feel like rocks falling from the sky.
The sound of thunder,
sounds like mountains crashing.
The sight of lightning,
like a bright white beam that you can see for a split second.
But I'd go through all this for my love.

Without her,
life doesn't have a purpose.
Without her,
I would wish the rain could knock me out for good because i wouldn't want to live without her.
Without her,
I would wish the thunder would cause hearing loss because i wouldn't want to live without her beautiful voice.
Without her,
I would I get struck by lightning, so I can meet her in the afterlife.
She's my life.
She's my death.
