The Look Poem by Namrata Garg

The Look

As I looked around
I gazed at you
Decent solemn cute you appeared
But your stare changed my thoughts dear
Still there's something winsome
That provoked me to listen to your voice without any reason
At last we talked
You are my senior I got to know
You seemed to be shy
But that's the sweet thing I find
We all dismissed
Your presence I missed
But destiny played its game
Our numbers got exchanged
Your message came
My body moved like a wave
You expressed what you feel
In my veins blood torrent like a stream
Just in two days we became good friends
But I'm lil scared
As people use and leave as if its a trend
Hope you are not sheep dipping
And make me feel like kicking
Found a good friend in you
May our relationship linger and pursue
