The Long Road Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Long Road

The long road
It has been a long road
And I do not even remember
Much of what I have done in it
In some way perhaps
I have done more
Than I will ever know
I can thank God
For all the time given
For all the years I have had
Perhaps I truly did something of value in it
I don't know
It has been a long road
And there are some books and writings there
I thank God
I could do them.
