The Lonesome Road Poem by Katelin Sanderson

The Lonesome Road

When I walked the lonesome road,
I saw the greatest thing.
For in the woods lay a poem,
Yet something o' so beautiful,
It lay in a box of golden Ivy.
To describe the beauty of its words is impossible,
For it must have been writen by angles.
Maybe, though, I shall write it down,
Or for now keep it to my self.
Just remember the power of,
A walk on a lonesome road.
