The Lone Ones Poem by Ekaterina Yossifova

The Lone Ones

One who is a child and
goes alone to the shore, looking at the water

One who is walking with a backpack and
with the silence and its sounds
and with the silence in one's self and one's own sound

One who is alone with books
and then with the silences therein,
making them good alone;
joining in alone; non-content alone

The lone ones, no common noise
can delude them any more
