The Little Things I Love Poem by Ronald Speight

The Little Things I Love

Given an unfavorable take on life
I look at all things with beauty
The morning sun which
Dances across my face
And awakens me

The cooling rains which
Cleanse the street
Then show a spectrum of gratitude

The soothing winds
Which lull me to sleep
The moon above that
Clears my mind for sleep

The elegant tapestries spun by spiders
The light buzz of a bug moving by
Though it may seem annoying
I love it because it means I still feel
