The Language Of Love, My Edition. Poem by Maxwell Holland

The Language Of Love, My Edition.

Rating: 5.0

WRITTEN IN AUGUST 2011 (after writing you a short letter that I was too shy to mail)

'I love you.'
Translation: 'You're all my heart wants.'

'Baby.'
Translation: 'My soul, my heart, my life, my everything.'

'Hey, guess what? '
Translation: 'Prepare for me to tell you 'I love you.''

'You mean so much to me.'
Translation: Self-explanatory.

'Forever.'
Translation: 'Until you get tired of me.'

'I want you.'
Translation: 'The physical part of our relationship is needed very much right now.'

'Are you happy? '
Translation: 'Are you happy with me? '

'I need you.'
Translation: 'There's a chance that my body and soul may fail to exist without you. Don't let that happen, please.'

'*attempt at really bad Spanish*'
Translation: 'I'm really trying to impress you and trying to show you how much I love you.'

'Unf.'
Translation: 'You're sexy.'

'I promise.'
Translation: 'I swear to you with every ounce of my living being that I will fulfill this vow.'

'I love you more.'
Translation: 'My heart is making an irrational attempt at loving you more than I already do.'

'Can we..'
Translation: 'I want to do this, but if you don't want to, neither do I.'

'*Love song lyrics*'
Translation: 'I'm trying to tell you a fraction of what I feel for you but I can't do it with my own words so I'm trying with a famous person's words.'

'I miss you.'
Translation: 'My heart hasn't had it's prescribed daily dosage of you and it's beginning to stop.'

'You make me so happy.'
Translation: 'There's nothing else in this world that makes me feel the way you make me feel.'

'This stupid list I just finished writing.'
Translation: 'Something you'll probably never read because I'm too nervous to let you read it.'
