The Kiss Poem by June FeirCruz

The Kiss

Rating: 3.5

I miss you and I don't know what to do with myself
In a perfect world: I would be tracing your face with my fingertips
Bring your face close to mine, kissing your eyes, the tip of your nose
and last but not the least: your lips.

Your lips... its touch bring me down to my knees
Makes me open wide to the universe
The thought of your lips to mine
Brings tears to my pearl.

Your kiss... make me forget who I am
What is real... what is not.
You.... kiss me to my very core
To my very soul
And I am lost forever.

In the reducing length of the lines you draw the reader ever inward, intensifying the experience of such a tender and passionate moment. This is totally beautiful, thank you June.
