The King With No Throne Poem by Lacey UnKnown

The King With No Throne

Do you know what it's like to be alone?
It's like a king without a throne
You sit and search through and through
Yet can find nothing to comfort you
You look and see the world fly by
Without a cloud in anyone's sky
But then you look in your own world
And see the clouds in the sky, swirled
You try and try with all your might
But nothing seems to make things right
It seems you've dug a hole with no hope
And suddenly you see a hand with rope
It lowers the rope and lifts you high
Suddenly, the clouds disappear from your sky
You forget what it's like to be alone
The king now sits upon his throne

A great poem indeed with deep humor and methaphor in the harmony of melodic rhythm of over flowing words of wisdom and passion. keep writing and thanks for sharing. melvin
