Ageless adversity pondering wealth,
Is one so taken, by ones ownself.
Given a token to pass through time.
A chance to live in verse and rhyme.
I will share in your sorrow and grief,
Only for a moment is my belief.
For life is short a kindling fire.
To live it more fully is my desire.
To read each poem and gain understanding,
of others thoughts can be demanding.
I do enjoy the life between the lines.
Of all the poets as the sun shines.
I think of each of them as kin,
All their smoke will ride the wind.
They are brave they made a choice.
To write in words their own voice.
Today is my birthday but it will pass.
Another year older, hope my poems will last.
If they dissapear in the kindling fire.
May the smoke reach heaven is my desire.
To transfer genuinely felt sentiments accurately in words of clear meaning is no mean feat. Saint Eule has done it here and the poem's feeling becomes the reader's feeling. If it was written on his birthday here is wishing him many happy returns of the day and my prayers for his family specially for his children and grand children. I know what it is being a grandfather myself.

I would like to translate this poem
i give you honor my brother in life, for you was born the same day as my wife we may not be rich and famous or even world reknown, but our words will never let us down, they will be here long after we are gone, and hopefully passed down thru the generations of our grand and great grand children. this is our legacy that we leave to them, and that is all we could do my very dear friend. again i honor you and your poetry. and may the words come as freely as the birds up in the sky, for that's all we have you and i.
