The Human Cup Poem by Amber Elzey

The Human Cup

Rating: 5.0

On my wrist is a crimson stain
that shows the physical pain,
that I endure
to let the emotional pain pour...
out of my heart and our of my soul
into a hole
that does not end
during this time, I really need a friend
but he tells me all the wrong things
what he tells me cuts deep and stings
so the emotional pain builds up
and once again I have to let the emotional pain flow out of the human cup

Great poem! Good use of language and well crafted. I hope you can overcome this addiction and concentrate on writing or some other outlet. I wish you the best Amber. Take care. -Michael
