The Hidden Curse Poem by Shelley Wynona Williams

The Hidden Curse

The curse got Its start in days of the past
and the object inside Shelley was destined to last.
The years hid their secret amazingly well
and, some would whisper but nobody would tell.
Her character was built up enough to withstand
the harm of destruction by an evil hand.
They followed her every day and into the night
in a way that would keep them out of one’s sight.
They got into her head and hijacked her mind
and disregarded the law with no document signed.
The days went by and she wasn’t much of a talker
and this made it easy for the eyes of the stalker.
Truth hides in the shadows behind a dark lie
and they would be there until she would die.
Never to be broken, she was spiritually strong
and as forced example she lead people wrong.
Shelley would make mistakes in her say and do
while surviving the storms that they put her through.
She was their opposition, she would not give in
to the forces of evil that would try to cause sin.
She fought in her silence to be left alone
but they cursed her path and their place was unknown.
The future could bring upon her a sudden death
and she would fight them until her final breath.
It is then that she hopes the people will find
through a full body X-Ray what they left behind.
The truth will be known and lies will be dead
but for now she does not know what has been said.
There is not a sign to help Shelley know
what has been going on and who runs the show.
To this day she struggles with mental debates
going on in her head while true justice awaits.
