The Greatest Love (God God God) Poem by Udiah (witness to Yah)

The Greatest Love (God God God)

Rating: 3.7

The man's name was Jesus of Nazareth
The crime committed read: King of the Jews
While on that cross, He taught Psalm Twenty Two
Then He said, ‘It is finished, ' ending death

He paid the ransom required you know
The Lamb who would be led to the slaughter
Bearing our sins and stripes at His Altar
He is the One written of long ago

The greatest love our God has for His wife
What a great price He paid to set us free
John Three Sixteen: if we belief in Thee
Thou shall give our souls everlasting life

For those who decide to walk in His Way
They shall be grafted to His Tree today
Abiding in Him, inheriting all
For He has not changed, but fulfilled the Law

Through His Word and Spirit we learn all
In His resurrection we see the eternal

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
On the tenth of Abib the people chose Christ as their lamb. Four days later He was crucified, died and was buried. After three days in the tomb, He arose to show us His eternal life. The church condenses this to a week, when it actually was eight days. Sabbath, He was welcomed into Jerusalem, then was crucified on the day before the High feast of Passover. He laid in the tomb for three days, from Passover through the weekly Sabbath two days later, then arose after the third day.

Though the four gospels are included in the new testament, the biography of Jesus of Nazareth was written by other people as well. but there is no scientific evidence to prove what ever that had been claimed to have been taken place as miracles even after 2000 years. Every religion talks about the miracles and it was accepted very easily during that period of time as the people were ignorant and did not have any scientific knowledge. If someone with the same caliber of Jesus of Nazareth exists today, he is supposed to be involved with major universities of the world to prove his status as the son of the God by proving beyond reasonable doubt and he would not associate himself with fishermen to propagate his doctrines and it will not be accepted. My point here is, we can believe the principles and the doctrines of the religions for moral guidance, not more than that.

Not sure just what 'hearsay' you might be alluding to. Jesus of Nazareth walked this earth and was crucified is mentioned in many historical documents, including non-Christian ones. What He did and preached while here on earth, one has to refer to the actual eye witnesses who were here and walked with him, the four gospels provide testament to that and go further to testify that He rose from the dead. As far as HIs accomplishments in fulfilling old testament scriptual law and also, the history of the Isrealites, one has to refer to the Old Testament or Septuagint writings that were in existance at that time. As far as believing in a God? That one is up to the individual and if they care to reseach that one for themselves. For no-one can force another to believe what they choose not to.

As the American educationists want the reference, have they done any research to prove, instead of believing the hearsay..Anyway Good poem on Jesus of Nazareth, a revolutionist..
