The Greatest Is To Be Answered By Each (English Sonnet)

Who is the greatest poet of all time
Is a question that can not be answered
Many poets do not like to use rhyme
In doing so the answer may be blurred

And then there is the form of poetry
There are the epic poetry writers
Who wrote Gilgamesh and the Odyssey
Some of these poems to many are blurs

Basho was great writing complex haiku
William Shakespeare was a great sonneteer
Poetry is truly a simple stew
To be shared in a pub over a beer

The greatest is to be answered by each
Though the answer will remain out of reach
