The Greatest Healer
He couldn't imagine
A life without her
Yet survived a lifespan
To live without her.
He often remembers her
With a sad and heavy heart
Then with a wry smile
Moves ahead on chosen path.
For he has learnt the truth
However big may be the loss
Time is the greatest healer
It leaves behind only scars.
