The Great King Poem by Akujuobi Chijioke

The Great King

Jehovah is infinitely greater
Than all the kings of the earth
His glories far weightier
Than the stars of royal birth

He stretches forth His mighty arm
And touches the roots of the universe, The canal crowns scorched in dead alarm As they ponder His awesomeness.

A burning furnace of extreme beauty Crowns His surpassing eminence
Where His thrones submits their duty To the voice of His thunderous eloquence.

His procession of angelic singers
Bedecked with dazzling golden miracles, Heightens their vocal slingers
To the demise of vulturous oracles.

The Glorious King reigns!
His Kingship is beyond eternities;
On mankind His Godship rains
To bestow beautiful realities...
