The Great Divide...(Our Cat-Astrophie) Poem by Stanley Cooper

The Great Divide...(Our Cat-Astrophie)

Rating: 5.0

My wife, lying in bed
Lovingly and expectantly said
“Darling, where are you”?

From bed, I replied truthfully
Though a bit ruefully
“I’m on the other side of the cat”
And, that was that! !

No loving business
No monkey business
I was on the other side of the cat
And, that was that! !

I love this. It is so genuine and so very common. You would be surprised! Theodora onken
