The Grasshopper
The grasshopper wore a jersey
Prayed to the God Almighty
And tried to jump on to the moon!
The moon, the moon,
He tried to jump on to the moon!
He landed somewhere
Though he did not know exactly where
But it was on a farmer’s thatched roof!
The roof! The roof! The roof!
It was on a farmer’s roof!
