The Gloaming Poem by Flavia Kuchenny

The Gloaming

Standing on the ground
Hear the wind so loud
While your children scream and shout
You smile as big as the Atlantic Sea
It still brings out the Atlantis in me

Singin' out loud
The morning moon's around
There's fire coming from the ground
Crying out for peace, oh don't they see that all we want to be is free

All they've had of pain has been washed away
By the silver Gloaming summer rain
Linger on the doorway and hear what they have to say
They want to break their chains

So dance with us in lunacy
Play with us in this forbidden infacy
Let's fly like the moon on the sea
For you shine, you know you are free
