The Glimpsing Springs Poem by Asma Khan

The Glimpsing Springs

A falling leaf from the trees of
autumn spread this news
a princess from faraway lands
is coming to the forest of dreams
such a feeling is always true

A howling cry of the wind brought
the fragrance of spring
a wondrous glimpse of heavenly visions
such a sight is seldom seen

A rolling heart gathered hopes
to weave a path
an imaginary figure wore all desires in real
such a time is seldom noticeable

A sobbing child quietly prayed of riches
a dying sun wished of living the rays it spread once
such an incidence is always through
