The Girl From Chandler Poem by Randy Resh

The Girl From Chandler

THE GIRL FROM CHANDLER

She can be merciful
perduring my vulgar
metro Toronto casual French

with kindest correcting
humour disarming
admonishing infinite
alarming patience

She is of stock deceptively comely
emerald sapphire eye drink inviting

ever concealing sophisticate courtly
I so tremble quake rattle helplessly

Through jaded January
unforgiving February
her of razor sharp lip curl sultry

She be supplest spring season serenity
heavenly yes...
words do so escape me

Yet she can be mocking bird
mischievous wood nymph
bluffing beguiling trickster stunning

Fiercest frolic rollick Snow Bunny
wryly wiles cutting smiles confetti

The girl from Chandler
not any so as her
sending me stagger
slay word slur

stutter s-s- st-amour

That girl from Chandler
clamours rapture en' amour
force of nature
maple muse firecracker!

She the ever prancing pranking
Lake Murphy inkwell divining
North Star nebulae compass chorus
cross-wind clasp careening

The Girl from Chandler
of poets crowning her
figurine trophy
gilded wreath laurel

The Girl from Chandler
leaves of poetry pine her
forests for us weaves
verdent luscious leaves floral
